What Big Day Stories is
- Big Day Stories makes personalised, illustrated stories in which your child is the hero.
- Before a big day, a story in which your child sees themselves going through it helps them picture what will happen and feel more prepared.
- The stories help children aged 1 to 8 get ready for big days: the dentist, the potty, a new sibling, the first day of school, and many more.
- Stories are available in Romanian and English.
- Parents choose the topic, the picture style and the characters, and read the story on the site or download it as a PDF.
- We sell digital stories (one at a time or in bundles), the Kindergarten adaptation set, Printable collections and gifts. Printed books come later.
- Stories and pictures are created with artificial intelligence, following our own rules and safety checks.
How we keep children safe
Accounts are for parents and guardians aged 18 or over. Children never have accounts and never type anything into the app; the story reader has no links out.
A child's photo is optional, is used only to draw their character and is then deleted automatically. No person views it, and it is never used for anything else.
Every story is checked so that nothing is frightening, inappropriate or unsafe. While we are starting out, a person checks each finished story before it reaches you.
We use no tracking or advertising cookies.
Our experts
Our stories and parents' guides follow widely accepted advice from child psychology and paediatrics.
We are working with a child-development specialist who will review and sign our topics and articles. Their name and credentials will appear here, with their agreement, once the review is done. Until then, articles are marked as pre-approved.
